Midwifery Model of Care

The Midwifery Model of Care is based on the fact that pregnancy and birth are normal life processes. Hiring a midwife will ensure that you have: monitoring of the physical, psychological, and social well-being of the mother throughout the childbearing cycle, individualized education for the mother and family, and holistic maternity care.

Vines Midwifery offers continuous hands-on assistance during labor and delivery, as well as postpartum support in the days following birth. 
The application of this client-centered model of care has been proven to reduce the incidence of birth injury, trauma, and cesarean section.
